We started a new project in eTwinning for this school year.
The project is called "Sparks" and involves more than 25 schools in over 12 countries in Europe.
The main aim of the project is to share awareness about Sustainable Development Goals in the schools and communities, to learn about them and to try to find some solutions.
First activity in this project is Mystery Skype, so the students can meet each other in a fun and engaging way by guessing their countries.

The Academy at Shotton Hall, Peterlee, United Kingdom
First Mystery Skype battle was between schools in United Kingdom and Serbia. We had some problems with internet connection, so we ended our meeting with mobile phones.
We always need to be prepared for any unplanned situation and always need to have a plan B ;)
My students were very excited about the first Skype meeting this year. They prepared a lots of questions, but uniforms of the students from UK helped us so we guessed their country very fast :)
After they found the name of our country, we showed them our national costumes and our national instrument - frula. We have made special SDGs glasses to see how the World is look like if we are aware of SDGs. Cool, right? ;)
We had so much fun!
Looking forward to our next meeting! Which country that could be?

IES Antonio Serna, Albatera, Spain
The second meeting with students from Spain was very interesting and exciting, with many intelligent questions.
After guessing our countries, since it was the European Day of Languages, we exchanged Sustainable Development Goals in our languages and tried to learn how to pronounce them in Spanish and Serbian.
It was completely new experience for us... We love Mystery Skype! :)

OŠ "Toplički heroji", Žitorađa, Serbia
This was the first Mystery Skype for Italian students. They have been prepared really good with very interesting questions so they managed to guess the name of our country first.
After that, they wanted to get to know each other better so they talked about their school, city, life and wanted to know everything about us!
We enjoyed every second of this fantastic meeting!
It was filled with positive energy and lots of smiles :) Looking forward to work on the project with all of them!
